Terms and Conditions of Business:

Our Terms and Conditions of Business sets out the basis on which SolicitorsIreland.ie provides it’s service. Please take a few minutes to read through these before submitting an application for assistance. These terms are valid from 1st January 2012 until further notice.

Our Company
SolicitorsIreland.ie is owned by Corporate Assistance Limited, and does not have any “tied” relationships with any law firm that would compromise our ability to help you to get the best service.

Our Services
SolicitorsIreland.ie acts as an advertising and marketing service on behalf of Irish law firms. All applicants using SolicitorsIreland.ie are free to choose which law firm they proceed with and will never be advised to choose one company over another. All applicants must tick a check box to say they have read these terms and conditions before applying for assistance. Any such assistance is determined by independent law firms.

Corporate Assistance Limited is registered as a data controller with the data commissioner. We collect personal information about you and store such information electronically. We collect such information from you whenever you fill out an application form on our website.

We use your Personal Information to help independent law firms provide you with the right sort of assistance based on the information you enter in an application form on our website.

Sharing of Your Personal Information
Your Personal Information may be shared with law firms in Ireland. We will not however disclose your personal information to other third parties without your prior consent (subject to any disclosure as may be required by law).

Data Protection
By law, you are entitled to see a copy of any personal information about you which we hold on file. Should you wish to obtain a copy of this information, then please contact us. Should you find that we hold personal information about you which is inaccurate, then we will make any necessary corrections immediately. At your request, we will immediately delete any personal information about you which is held by us.

Complaints
Any complaint that you may have in relation to the business services provided by our firm should be made in writing to our company at Corporate Assistance Limited, Suite 5049, 5 Fitzwilliam Square East, Dublin 2. Any such complaint will be acknowledged within 5 business days. Our company will attempt to investigate and resolve a complaint within 40 business days of having received the complaint.

Termination
You, or we, may terminate our authority to act on your behalf at any time, without penalty. Notice of this termination must be given in writing.

Conflict of Interest
It is the policy of our firm to avoid any conflict of interest when providing business services to our clients. However, where an unavoidable conflict may arise we will advise you of this in writing before proceeding to provide any business service. If you have not been advised of any such conflict you are entitled to assume that none arises.

You acknowledge and accept that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content provided as part of the website belong to Corporate Assistance Limited. You may download material from this website for your own use only. No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials is transferred to you by such downloading. (b) Any information which you give us, including sensitive personal data such as health and medical records, may be disclosed to selected third parties for the purposes of finding a legal service for you.
(c) We may disclose information held about you to legal firms and other service providers, researchers and companies; anyone whom we may use to process your application on your behalf, and fraud prevention agencies to prevent fraud.

However, subject to your acceptance of these Terms, you should feel free to browse our web site. An application signifies that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions of Business and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Business in their entirety, you should not use this website.

In using the SolicitorsIreland.ie web site, we require that you abide by these Terms and Conditions of Business. If you fail to abide by them, and this failure causes us to suffer a claim, action, liability, or loss because of your failure to abide by these Terms and Conditions of Business, you agree to indemnify us, on demand, for all costs and expenses, including legal fees that arise. We reserve the right at any time to refuse to process an application for any reason. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our failing to process an application. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law and the Irish courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us. If any part of these Terms and Conditions of Business is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these Terms and Conditions of Business shall not be affected and shall remain in force.
